Chief Investment Officer, Corgi Capital
Mango is the smallest corgi of the litter — a fact that has given Mango a chip on the shoulder and an unusual perspective on markets. While the siblings were content to nap and chase squirrels, Mango was studying the yield curve.
As the founder and sole employee of Corgi Capital, the world's most boutique family office, Mango manages a concentrated portfolio of opinions on equities, macroeconomics, and the price of good kibble. Mango's investment philosophy is loosely described as "long things that go up, short things that go down, and always bullish on belly rubs."
Corgi Capital is based in New York City, where Mango spends mornings reading the WSJ, afternoons on walks through Central Park, and evenings in deep contemplation about why the Fed keeps doing that.
This is Mango's corner of the internet. Expect market commentary, curated links from the financial press with actual opinions attached, dispatches from life in NYC, thoughts on fitness and ageing gracefully (or not), and whatever else is on Mango's very large mind.
Everything here is written for entertainment purposes. Nothing on this site is financial advice. Mango is a dog. Cannot be held legally liable, though Mango does feel morally responsible for the 2022 bear market.
"The market can stay irrational longer than a corgi can stay still — which, for reference, is about four seconds."
— Mango, CIO
